Taoist Yoga
Similar to the more familiar Indian styles of yoga, Taoist Yoga (or Kaimen) involves breathing and stretching exercises.

Within a Kaimen Taoist Yoga session at Paignton Tai Chi Studio, we practice both standing and floor exercises (so you may wish to bring a Yoga Mat with you!).

Kaimen exercises combine breathing with movement to encourage relaxed stretching of muscles and tendons in order to improve flexibility and general health.

Both seated and standing meditation are incorporated into our Kaimen Taoist Yoga classes and practice.
